Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion Review

One of my staples in my makeup bag, on my trip to New York is this Clinique Dramatically Different Body Lotion! The signature pale yellow fluid is one of those iconic beauty staples that has become a legend in its own right (kind of like The  Burberry Trench, or the Birkin Bag is in fashion) , and i recently got to try it because Clinique claims to have made it even better.

Harpers Bazaar and Clinique sent across an adorable package of this new and improved baby and it sits pretty in my NYC apartment shelf, as i gorge on takeout chinese ( Miso Soup and Sesame Chicken with rice-OMG- the food in New York is AMAZING. The street food is amazing, the chinese is amazing…i am loving trying out new stuff everyday!). But anyway, coming back to the lotion -look how adorable the packaging i got is:

The lotion is nice and light weight and immediately injects your skin with moisture. I think girls with oily skin will really really love this lotion because its probably the only lotion iv found that hydrates but doesn’t leave my skin feeling even a little bit shiney or oily. I have dry skin, and this does handle my moisture needs well, but i could up the hydration quotient a bit more …

I love the pump and the nozzle packaging. Very handy – specially when travelling. I used this in the flight the wholeclinique-dramatically-different-lotion-4 clinique-dramaticallu-different-lotion-5See how it doesnt leave even a trace of shiney-ness? It still hydrates, but dries really soft and matte- thats why i think its perfect for oily skin tones who need a good moisturizer that doesnt break them out !

Verdict: A

Recommendation:The Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion hydrates and nourishes the skin without leaving even a trace of oily-ness. If you are someone who struggles with moisturizers because they break you out or make your skin oilier you will absolutely love this.  Those with very dry skin like mine, may prefer something with more of a dewy finish.

PS: More NYC posts coming soon i promise ! Im just so exhausted guys-Yawn. Bed time.

Sounds good for oily skin. Even though I got combination skin , whenever I apply any sort of moisturizers or lotion, it gets overtly oily !!

I’m not crazy about lotions, but I’ll definitely be on the lookout for this one. The last one I bought from them was fantastic & I could do with another!!!

I use the gel version of the product. Had a few hits and misses for my oily, acne-prone, sensitive skin before I chanced on this miracle worker. Its a little more expensive than other products but then it does exactly what it claims. It gently hydrates your skin without any irritation.
Do stop by my blog if you’d like

Just started using this moisturiser. It’s definitely expensive, but feels so beautifully light on my oily skin!
