Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush

Creamy Cinnamon sounds like  one of the 101 flavours of coffee available in Starbucks, but really its just Maybelline ‘s take on the sweet and spicy touch of cinnamon on your cheeks.  Since i am a hardcore cinnamon fan (I overloaded cinnamon syrup on my waffles today for breakfast in Phoenix. Oh yeah- im in Phoenix, Arizona  for two days as part of my USA workation and so far im not loving it).

Coming back to the blush, this tiny cute little spaceship thingie is Maybelline’s newest offering- the Cheeky Glow Blush. It really is tiny, it loks big in the photographs but hold it in the palm of your hand and its more a blushlet rather than a blush!

Creamy Cinnamon is just a gorgeous, earthy, peachy-cinnamon shade that adds a ton of warmth to your cheeks. If you remember Colorbar’s Just Earth, then this is really really similar and is a very pretty option for  medium Indian Skin tones. Just a few strokes of it on your cheek and you look like an earthy, sultry goddess. I do think it will look exceptionally beautiful on deeper skintones too but you may have to layer this on more and check

In terms of the blush itself i actually quite like this little cutie. It is pigmented, smooth to apply and the texture actually is creamy even though its a powder blush. I also like how travel friendly this is, and in NYC its my go to work blush ! It could definitely improve in the longevity department- you wont get more than 2 hours out of this

Verdict: A-

Price: Rs 250

Recommendation: Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush in Creamy Cinnamon is a earthy, peachy cinnamon colored blush that will look stunning on light to medium skintones, and when layered on more  for better pigmentation -even for deeper skintones! For the price, these are really nice blushes but could use improvements in the longevity department.

I really want to try these. They have really interesting, peachy, earthy shades in this line, don’t they?
