Bridal Lemmings: PFDC Loreal Couture Week

I think somewhere along the lines, my great grandfathers Karachi roots have left some what of an imprint on me, because i adore Pakistani Silhouettes. Sure, i love the full voluminous gheras and colors of India but i also love the soft, flowy gorgeousness and the intricate craftsmanship of Pakistan and the PFDC Loreal Couture Week is always a feast for the ideas. Personal favourites- Nomi Ansari, HSY, Asifa Nabeel and Elan Couture always throw something interesting in the mix.

PFDC actually has this stunning, shop in Delhi in South Ex which is  an area every Delhi Bride must visit anyway ! The prices are well, kind of crazy. The cheapest item there would set you back 1.2 lakhs and the most expensive goes up to 7 lakhs but some of the stuff is just stunning !

I also think these silhouettes are really unique for an Indian bride, so those of you choosing between a lehenga or an anarkali for your reception- just forget both of those and go with these kind of straight lacha’s ! They are different, they are super in and they flatter every single body type ! Plus add a jhoomar, dark kohl and nude glossy lips and you look like an exotic Princess !!

The third one looks good. I’ve been looking for an ethnic outfit- ‘long tunic with pants’, but haven’t been able to find one. Any suggestions?
