The Body Shop Moringa Body Butter Review
Guest Review By CSP Ballal
Brands keep coming out with a variety of products for us to obsess over but there are some staples which are hard to replace. One of them is Body Shops Body Butter Range and this Moringa Body butter is exactly one such item! I first tried the Mango Body Butter from TBS. Reviewed here. I finished that off and made a vow that I will always buy body butters only from The Body Shop.
The Body Shop Moringa Body Butter. With Moringa seed oil to moisturize. Normal/dry skin.
When you opt for floral products, usually the trend is to run behind jasmine or rose. But, this is a slightly different scent . Gives the feel of a moringa flower crushed and added into fresh butter, scooped and stored in this tub.
The texture is very rich and thick. If you have oily skin, this is not for you. Even ladies with normal skin can maintain some distance from this tub. But, for dry skin this is definitely a boon. This lush, extra rich cream ensures that parched skin looks supple and smooth .
The moisturizing power does not last an entire day thought but when you have dry skin you cannot expect that from any product. This does relieve the skin of its dryness for atleast 4 hours which is a huge plus specially with the onset of winters which are like horror movie times for girls with dry skin.
If you are particular about the ingredients list then you have to peel the sticker they provide on the package which reveals one big list. Confession- i prefer not to look at them because they freak me out. I dont know- they sound like some alien baby names .
Very thick texture suitable for dry skin.
Leak free pack, travel friendly.
Value for money.
Makes the dry elbow and knee very soft.
Not suitable for normal and oily skin (well, this is actually not a bad point)
Needs reapplication. Does not moisturize day long.
Price: Rs. 775
Recommendation: For girls with dry skin looking for a lush and rich moisturizer for winters, the Body Shop Moringa Body Butter will not dissapoint even a tiny bit. This moisturizes and keeps skin smooth and supple for atleast 4 hours. It is pretty heavy dutu though- so those of you with oily/normal skin may want to avoid.
