Lakme Absolute Drama Stylist Shadow Crayon in Pink

There are two kinds of people in this world. The first kind take 20 minutes- use 4 kinds of eyeshadows and all sorts of complicatedly shaped brushes and come out in perfectly put together makeup with their eyes looking like super star, glam eyes. The second kind wants something quick and easy- just to get by with their eyes looking shining and bright and cannot bother to complicate themselves in multiple products. I definitely, fall in the second category and that is why the Lakme Drama Stylist Shadow Crayon is like my best friend !

Price: Rs 700 from Nykaa .com

Lakme claims “ Lakmé launches the very exciting Lakmé Absolute Drama Stylist Shadow Crayon, designed to deliver high colour payoff and professional finish. The cutting edge technology behind the product ensures that it glides smoothly and can be worn both as an eyeshadow or an eyeliner. This unique eyewear is easy to use and comes with a smudgeproof and creaseproof formula for those dramatic eyes.”

Essentially this is like an eyeshadow in crayon form and the shade ‘Pink’ is a beautiful Pink- Gold duochrome which is super flattering with Indian wear and results in bright, shining eyes ! I tried this as a light wash, but what i got was mostly glitter, however when i try it on directly from crayon to lid is when the beautiful duochrome really shows through ! I also wore this in my inner corners and on the lower rim for wider looking eyes and it completely made my eyes open up. This is the kind of eyeshadow color i love- beautiful, peachy -pink that goes with just about everything and just about every skin tone.

In terms of texture- these Lakme Drama Stylist Eyeshadow Crayons dry quicker than i expected. I thought this would be soft and creamy but they dry quickly so dont expect to spread these across with your finger , because it dries on contact. This is actually a good thing because it doesnt slide off oily lids and stays put through the night. I think this is a multitasking product, atleast this color is and i definitely feel like picking it up just because how its super easy to use. Sweep, pat, done !

Verdict:B

Price: Rs 750 from Nykaa.com

Recommendation: The Lakme Drama Stylist Shadow Crayon in Pink is a gorgeous pink and gold duochrome that is one of those must have shades to wear with Indian clothing. These shadow crayons are pigmented, easy to apply and long lasting- though i do admit that these are kind of overpriced and this one does give a grainy feel. I say skip it at this price !

It’s similar to Nyx Yogurt?
It’s pricey but I might want to try more neutral shades.

it’s a very pretty colour. I like this the most out of all colours. But the price is a turn off.
Rimmel ones are more reasonably priced.

I dont fall in either of those two categories… I fall in a third “no eye makeup but slowly trying to jump to the second” category! These eye crayons are perfect for me… I am currently trying thr rimmel eye pencil and a maybelline colour tattoo :)

trying hard to learn using eyes-hadows and create looks, still prefer only kajal and can work with single eyeshadow only.. :(
