My Favourite Pieces from Indian Roots !

in Bridal fashion

Its my new favourite site to browse gorgeous Indian clothing and infact it even features the Sharara i wore for my SIL’s roka. See it here? Its available online here  ! I was browsing through it today, and thought i would put together a small little sneak peak of whats available on Indian Roots !

anarkali-lehengas-bridal (2).bmp That is an original Sabyasachi Peeli Kothi Lehenga ! I know those blouses are miles overdone now but i like the simple skirt and the white dupatta. White dupatta plus classic red lehenga is evergreen! That just under 2 lakh rupees by the way.

This Persis Lehenga reminds me of my own Bridal Lehenga . Like the full sleeves blouse, not so much the shape of the skirt.

I think this is an Anju Modi, im not too sure but i love the asymmetric hems and the cut away sleeves.

Give me a banarsi silk Anarkali in  a gorgeous pink and gold and i would wear it in a heartbeat ! This Anita Dongre anarkali i actually saw live on the ramp at LFW !

anarkali-lehengas-bridal (8).bmpAnother Anita Dongre piece. Absolutely gorgeous saturated blue ! Plus pretty reasonably priced for a designer outfit as well.

Rather cliched choice, but still very pretty colors on this neon Anarkali dont you think? I have actually seen this in person from the designer  and almost bought it from her, but then wanted to go for something more edgy so let it be.

Indianroots is a shopping site that I love too much!!! I get so many varieties of sarees on this website that I end up buying so many of them. The sarees are so elegant that they look costlier than they actually are. I have purchased so many sarees from Indianroots and all of them are absolutely stunning!
