Nivea Lip Butter Raspberry Rose (2) Nivea Lip Butter In Raspberry Rose Review

I dont quite know whether my dry skinbis a blessing or a curse ! In the summers i am happy with it, since my skin does not face any issues of pimples, breakouts or acne . But as soon as winter arrives, i need an emergency moisture stash of body butters, moisturisers and lip balms and and so i made space in my wallet for this awesome lip butter which EVERYONE seems to be loving. After having read about the Caramel Cream version on P&B, i bought this Raspberry Rose version!
[nbox type="notice"] Price: Rs 180 from Nykaa [/nbox]
What Nivea says: The new Nivea lip butter range has a buttery balm formula which melts instantly into your lips leaving them soft and smooth. The rich formula containing shea butter and almond oil works to intensively nourish, providing long lasting moisture to leave your lips beautifully soft and healthy looking all day long.

Nivea lip butter is found in India in 2 variants- Caramel Kiss and Raspberry Rose which i am reviewing here. This is a slightly tinted pink which is also called raspberry rose kiss in some countries.

The lip butter comes in a cute, flat round tin and as soon as one opens the lid the beautiful smell of lip butter  wafts through. It smells like Raspberry with a slight  hint of  pink roses , mixed with the delicious warm wafting of lip butter

After using this lip balm for close to 1 month it has become my HG product…It has the goodness of almond oil and shea butter which is very good for lips and it also aims to reduce pigmentation on lips. It really lives up to the claims of its moisturising properties. It keeps my lips soft for 5-6 hours without meals and imparts a light pink tint which i absolutely love. The products get absorbed at one go so it might be that you end up applying more and it would leave you a whitish cast. so, gals here we have to be a little careful but i am sure on practise you will get that.

After meals it disappears but its moisturising properties are still there. This is quite appropriate to prevent lips from chapping in harsh winters. My lips still feel soft after meals. You can apply it alone or beneath lipsticks or gloss.

The best part of this lip butter:

1. Very moisturising.
2. Gives beautiful pink tint.
3. Quantity huge to last one season.
4. Scent also refreshing.
5. Cute packaging
6. Healthy ingredients.
7. Decent staying power.
8. Travel freindly packaging

The not so good part of this lip butter:

1. Tub packaging may be unhygeinic for some.(But not for me).

Rating: A

Price: Rs. 180 from

Recommendation: This lip butter is the BEST lip balm i have tried till date. This keeps my dry lips perfectly soft and imparts a healthy , glowy look. The product quantity seems huge at this price. This is also very pocket friendly not just because of the price, but because how easily it fits into the pocket :)

I bought this last week from healthandglow for 189 Rs. Haven’t started using yet, can’t bring myself to mess the cute smooth pink surface. The tin packaging is super cute, not a con.

Pallavi Bose January 7, 2014 at 10:20 pm

yuuppp u r right redity…I find this tub packaging actually very cute…but some find it unhealthy to dip fingers nad take out the product as some product remains on your nails….

Meghana January 7, 2014 at 4:33 pm

i have tried applying the caramel kiss one at night and somehow i wake up to dry lips in the morning.
i guess i am the only one with weird super dry lips which do not want to enjoy such luxuries
but still, very well reviewed :)
