Blue Eyeshadow Tutorial

While strolling through Shahpur Jat today , a random 5 year old  kid singing this song jolted me to the perils of Honey Singh! And while not all his songs are PG 13, Blue eyes definitely is one of those that just gets stuck in your head and doesnt leave. And since i posted my blue makeup look here and on facebook , everyone – friends, family and even P&B readers have just been commenting with lyrics of that song ! concentric-circle-method-eyemakeup-001

This is a fail proof- concentric circle method of applying eyeshadow. This is what you need

1. 3 shades of the same color (This works great with emerald green, oranges and peaches, purples and deep browns. I used three from my coastal scents pallette)

2. A blending brush

Step 1: Apply the darkest shadow in a semi circle method right at the centre of your eyelid !

Step 2: Apply the lighter shade around the semi circle

Step 3: Apply the lightest shade at the outer edge

Step 4: Take a blending brush and with little circular motions like this @@@ all along your edge just blend this. TIP: my light color was very light so blending was easy but incase you have a deeper color to blend then load your blending brush with a skin colored matte eyeshadow and watch your shadow blend out like a dream!

STep 5: Apply kajal and smudge it with cotton bud. Apply mascara. DONE ! Tada !

I don’t know why but Honey Singh’s songs irritate me. Everyone is crazy about that blue eyes song but I hate that song :/
