Colorbar Perfect Match BB Cream Review (3) Colorbar Perfect Match BB Cream Review

Please don’t just run away by thinking ‘Oh Goshh here comes another BB cream review’ because it is not just another tinted moisturizer which claims to be a BB cream. It is till date the best BB cream I have tried yet.

My Experience with the product:

I have been using Colorbar perfect match BB cream for the past 2 months and it does a fantastic job. I like its packaging a lot as it is travel friendly and perfect for carrying to college or work. The nozzle of the tube becomes a bit dirty with the product after some time but I don’t think it is an issue.

The texture of this BB cream is very light and not runny. Before applying this you need to make sure that your skin is moisturized really well because it doesn’t blend well on dry skin and looks a bit patchy and powdery so I think that girls with dry skin won’t like this product much, especially in winters. But on the other hand, girls with oily skin would love this BB cream as it gives a good matte finish. After applying it I noticed a very fresh fragrance on my face but don’t worry it is very faint and I am sure you will love it. The Colorbar BB cream gives a light coverage which looks really natural so I even skip my foundation sometimes, apply some concealer, blush and I am ready to go out. It stays fresh for some 4 hours or so and after that I need to touch up.

Colorbar perfect match BB cream comes in three different shades and the shade Vanilla crème was the perfect match for me. Other great thing is that it is paraben free and even has SPF 20 so more reason to love this product.

  • Keeps the face shine free for good 3-4 hours
  • Has yellow undertones
  • Has a very nice fresh fragrance
  • Evens out the skin out
  • Has a light texture
  • Gives a light natural coverage
  • Paraben free
  • Contains SPF 20

  • Looks patchy on dry skin

 Rating: A

Price: Rs.550

Final Recommendation: I absolutely love the way this Colorbar Perfect Match BB Cream evens out my skin and makes it look fresh. So far it is the best BB cream I have used so I would suggest everybody to give it a try once. Girls with dry skin may not enjoy this but those with oily skin- this is your best friend.

I have seen this product getting really good reviews. Have been wanting to try this and the Ponds BB cream. Nice review :)

Aanchal March 16, 2014 at 11:22 pm

Thanks :)
Well I tried the ponds one also but i didnt like it at all. It didnt suit my skin tone and was more of a tinted moisturiser

Xuvious March 15, 2014 at 4:00 pm

Might suit me more in the coming months since my skin isn’t as dry. :)

Aanchal March 16, 2014 at 11:23 pm

Even I’m hoping that it would blend effortlessly in summers :P

Hi,I bought a Colorbar BB cream Cinnamon swirl 003. I heard it comes out with 3 shades. The lady at health and glow suggested this shade for me. She said it will look fine for my skin tone. as i am on the fairer side. not too fair though. I wanted something which will give me a glow and lift up my complexion at the same time doesn’t look whitey, A natural shade. I feel it looks a bit dark on me. Have any of you tried the other two shades? Vanilla cream and honey glaze? Any guidelines on choosing these shades please

Hi Aanchal,

I am 27 now. I have some pigmentation on my face and have some dark circles as well. It’s looks like some extra layer on my upper cheeks, it’s going dark and dark day by day. I went Dr. Batra for the treatment, I had medicine for a year. It wasn’t work out. I have been using Olay seven total effects. I do not like this cream this is very oily, may be my skin is oily that’s why it’s happened or else. I am a unmarried girl. I am really worried about my skin, could you please suggest me some good creams how can I get rid off from these problems?

Best regards
Sita Sharma

I have oily, acne prone skin – would you recommend this bb cream for me? Or is there something else you recommend for my skin type? I’m also looking for coverage for acne scars.
