Loreal Paris 6 Oil Nourish Shampoo Review (4)Loreal Paris 6 Oil Nourish Shampoo Review

Katrina Kaif may not be an A+ in the acting department but lets face it- the girl is  gorgeous. One afternoon I was watching one movie on TV and during an irritating long ad break I came to know about this Loreal Paris 6 Oil Nourish Shampoo which Ms.Kaif was endorsing. With all the camera tricks and special effects her hair sure looked fab but don’t get me wrong- I was not impressed by those special effects..what caught my attention was the fact that this shampoo has a blend of 6 effective oils which I thought was very interesting. So the same evening I purchased this shampoo- how did it fare on me, read on…..

Product Description: The 6 Oil Nourish Shampoo has been created to provide complete nourishment to your hair from root to tip with 6 Micro Oils™ making it soft, shiny, thick, strong, smooth and manageable.

Application: Massage gently into wet scalp/hair, lather and rinse for soft, nourished and healthy hair. Apply twice if required.

Innovation: Science meets tradition with the infusion of 6 unique oils. The L’Oréal Paris 6 Oil Nourish Shampoo has been specially created by the L’Oréal Research & Innovation Centre in India. It penetrates deep into the scalp giving it utmost nourishment and care that is suitable for all hair types.

Claims:

Micro- Oils™  technology –complete nourishment for hairs and scalp.

6 oils- Almond, Jojoba, Coconut, Olive, Argan  and Camelina.

6 Benefits:  Smooth, Soft, Manageable, Thick, Strong and Shiny.

Packaging: This shampoo comes in golden yellow colored opaque plastic bottle with translucent brown flip top cap.

My Views:

This shampoo cleanses my hair  nicely and after a hair wash I feel my hair is soft, smooth ,shiny and yes definitely more manageable. With regular usage it can make them strong and thick too…in my humble opinion I should give it a little more time to comment anything regarding this claim. Now do note, if you have dry unruly hair this is a great shampoo, but if your hair is already limp and oily its quite possible that this wont be  a magic genie in a bottle for you!

The shampoo is yellowish in color with a lotion like consistency. The shampoo is neither too thick nor too runny so it can be applied and spreads easily on your hair . The fragrance is great which remains in your hair for at least a day post usage. The packaging is nice and sturdy and the flip open cap dispenses the required amount of shampoo, so rest assured that you will not waste this beauty on that account.

Pros:

  1. Lovely fragrance.
  2. Sturdy and travel friendly packaging.
  3. Inexpensive and easily available.
  4. Ingredients i.e. oil mix.
  5. Cleanses hair well.
  6. Make them feel soft and shiny.

Cons:

  1.  Will suit people with dry hair only.
  2. May not work as a solution for frizzy hairs.

Rating: A-

Price: Rs.69/- for 75 ml and Rs.138/- for 175 ml.

Recommendation: The Loreal Paris 6 Oil Nourish Shampoo or rather the shampoo Katrina Kaif is endorsing these days is all  in all a good shampoo with an interesting mix of all the super effective 6 hair oils. If you have dry hair, this is definitely a good option for you as it smoothens and adds shine but this may be too heavy for those with oily hair

This sounds very similar to the Kerastase Elixir Ultime, which I have used in the past. I am sure the Loreal versions is tonnes cheaper too. Must try :)

So i oil my hair overnight and wash next morning. will it help to take out the oil from my hair? I had used garnier fructis oil+shampoo in the past. But oild always remained there after wash..and if i used that without oiling beforehand, it just made my hair dry.

I personally love Katrina, don’t know why so many people hate her. She’s gorgeous and she has beautiful hair. Gotta love anything with oils in :)
