The Body Shop Moisture Lotion SPF 15 Review
Just like any girl out there even I am always on the lookout for my HG moisturising lotion which gives just the right amount of moisturisation without making my skin greasy. So does The body shop moisture lotion turn out to be the one? Well read on to know.
This light moisturising lotion with SPF 15 hydrates and protects the skin.
• Light and easily absorbed
• Contains SPF 15 for UVA and UVB protection
• Leaves skin soft and healthy-looking
MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCT:
The body shop moisture lotion comes in a cute little pink tube which is small enough to be carried in a handbag. The texture is a bit thick but it is easily absorbed in the skin without looking greasy. A pea sized product is enough for the whole face but if you take a lot of product it can result in greasy skin. I found the finish to be in between dewy and matte.
It is a good moisturiser for summers but I didn’t find it as moisturizing in winters . Infact it gave me a very hard time in winters, skin around my nose became flaky and it didn’t help with any of that. So I was a bit disappointed, I think it might suit oily skinned beauties and the dry skinned ones will definitely not like it.
Many people would find it nice that it comes with SPF 15 but I however feel that this much SPF won’t make any difference and I have to use a sunscreen on top of it anyway. Moreover, the quantity they give for such a high price is very less and one tube doesn’t last for long.
- Gets easily absorbed in skin.
- Skin doesn’t look greasy in summers.
- Might suit people with oily skin.
- Hygienic packaging.
- Doesn’t provide required moisturisation in winters.
- Expensive for the less quantity offered.
- Wont suit people with dry skin and normal skin (in winters).
Price: Rs. 1295
Final Recommendation: While the Body Shop moisturizer is cute to look at, it definitely needs to add a dose of hydration to handly my normal skin during winters . This one is best left to the girls with oily skin or for a light moisturizer for summer months.
P.S.- Can anyone suggest me a good moisturiser for normal skin which doesn’t break the bank?
