??????????????????????????????? Lush Enchanted Eye Cream Review

We use various products for our face- be it skin care or makeup stuff. Undereye are of our face is relatively thinner and delicate so we need different products to take of that area of our face. Being blessed with sensitive skin it is not easy for me to pick various products which don’t react adversely and give me allergic reactions. I have used various Lush products in the past and trust this brand when it comes to skincare products. So over a period of time when I noticed the first sign of dark under eye circles I got alarmed and rushed to Lush outlet for picking an undereye cream. Today’s review is about Lush Enchanted Eye Cream which am using now a days for my under eye area.

Product Description: The skin under your eyes is extremely delicate. Forget about pal-kt peptides or Q10 complexes; only the gentlest natural ingredients should be used to keep the skin firm and supple. Enchanted Eye Cream is a gentle, soothing blend to minimize fine lines. We mix calming lavender honey water to reduce swelling with cold pressed almond and jojoba oils to moisturize and honey for that “just awoke from a full night’s beauty sleep” look.

Directions for use: After cleansing and toning your face, put a dab on your fingertip and pat gently onto clean, slightly damp skin. Gently dab on with your little finger, following the line of your cheek bone up towards your brow bone. A little bit goes a long way. Re-apply as often as needed.

  • Use Enchanted Eye Cream to give yourself a little lift, even if there’s no one else around.
  • Packed full of gentle ingredients, Enchanted Eye Cream is beneficial for all types of skin.
  • Cold-pressed almond oil high vitamin E content is perfect for the skin around the eyes.

Featured Ingredient: Cold presssed Jojoba oil.

Natural Ingredients: Lavender Honey Water (Lavendula hybrida , Mel , Aqua), Cold Pressed Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis) , Glycerine , Cold Pressed Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis).

Safe synthetics: Stearic Acid, Cetearyl Alcohol , Triethanolamine, Methylparaben , Propylparaben.

Packaging: The product is housed in opaque and sturdy black pump packaging secured with a transparent plastic cap. The packaging is travel friendly, hygienic and classy.

My experience with the product:

This cream is actually a lotion with a thin consistency white in colour and pearly in finish. This lotion has a light smell which doesn’t bother me much. The lotion is light and sinks easily once applied. It is mild and gentle on my under eye areas and thankfully has not given me any allergic reactions. It moisturizes and soothes my skin well and also working on minimizing fine lines present under my eyes, however even after using it regularly Iam not noticing any significant change in my dark circles, so basically it is a mild moisturiser for under eye area and not a treatment for dark circles or other problems.

Pros of Lush Enchanted Eye Cream:

  • Light weight soothing lotion for under eye area.
  • Cruelty free.
  • Non allergic.
  • Moisturizes under eye skin well.
  • Hygienic pump packaging.
  • It is a Lush product after all.

Cons of Lush Enchanted Eye Cream:

  • As like other Lush products, the price is on higher side.
  • Not a solution for dark circles, you need a separate product for that.
  • Contains Paraben.

Rating: 3.5/5

Price: Rs. 1300/- for 45 grams of the product.

Recommendation: This light weight lotion is a gentle moisturiser for under eye areas and also treat fine lines to some extent. However if you are concerned about dark circles then it is advisable to skip this.

Doesn’t seem very effective at removing dark circles, I think I’ll stick to my Aromamagic under-eye cream for now – quite effective and cheap too!

nausheen May 16, 2014 at 7:21 pm

I’ll try Aroma one now..

I’ve found Bobbi Brown eye cream to be quite effective. It does get rid of dark circles and keep skin supple too. This product, I might just skip.
