Chambor Rouge Plump Lipstick in 601

Can you believe its already two years since I tied the knot. FYI- we celebrate our two year anni today (yippeee), so a nice dinner date is on the cards before a trip to Bangalore to attend a wedding and then the boys home in Hyderabad ! While I sift through my wardrobe, browse (have an eye on atleast 7 things from there) and figure out what I am wearing today, I am pretty certain this Chambor Rouge Plump Lipstick in 601 is what will be keeping me company today.

The color: 601 is a gorge coral pink, in a medium tone. It instantly brightens up your face, yet still has that earthy tone to it making it super flattering for Indian skintones. Super recommend this for darker girls as well as medium toned girls like mine. These kind of coral pinks I can rarely ever get tired of.

In terms of quality: The Chambor Rouge Plump range has a lot going for them. For starters, these cuties are pigmented, ultra creamy and super soft to apply. These are super moisturizing so if you have dry lips then go out and give these a whirl because they are really hydrating and don’t exaggerate fine lines and stuff like that! My only gripe with them is that they transfer easily, so If i go to a party and have a glass of wine, pretty much everyone will see my Chambor Rouge Plump leaving its mark on the glass rim. Longevity is just about ok, I mean 4 hours is what you get and if you eat heavy in between you may get lesser than that but overall the texture is really lovely and these are definitely worth checking out

– Pigmented

– Creamy

-Glides easily

– Is a beautiful color that will flatter Indian skintones

– Nice, sleek packaging

– Transfers easily on to other things and is a bit melty

– While the lasting power is average i wouldn’t put it as a con necessarily

Verdict: A-

Price: Rs 745/-

Recommendation: The Chambor Rouge Plump lipstick in 601 is a purrttyyy coral pink that instantly brightens your face and works beautifully on Indian skintones. This range is creamy, pigmented, a breeze to apply but does transfer on to things which is a minor annoyance.
