Lakme Eyeconic Kajal in Grey: Swatches & Review
- 10 Hr.
- No smudging.
- Dermatologically tested.
Like its predecessor, the Lakme Eyeconic in grey has a texture that is nice and glides smoothly on my eyes without tugging though I do wish it was a little more creamy for better application .. The pigmentation is decent, in the sense that 2 – 3 swipes give an opaque finish on my eyelids, but on the waterline I have to swipe it 3- 4 times for it to show up well. Once set it does not budge at all even upon smudging and is completely waterproof, hence great for the humid weather. Though honestly at night, you might get annoyed as this doesnt go off without a makeup remover
The staying power is decent and it lasts for a good 8 hours on my eyelids and for 5 hours on my waterline after which there is some fading
The best thing about this kajal is the unique shade of grey it is. A medium grey with blue undertones to it, which under certain lights almost appears bluish grey and brings out my natural eye color, it is completely matte and a very unique color to come across . The color will look great on most skin tones and shows up well.
- Texture is smooth and creamy
- Retractable twist up pencil
- Pigmentation is good
- Last for fairly long time on my eyes
- Completely smudge proof and waterproof
- Safe for waterline and does not sting
- Very affordably priced
- Requires a bit of effort to show up on waterline specially
- Tip can break if more pressure is applied
- If you have oily lids you will definitely see fading.
Price: Rs 250
Recommendation:The Lakme Eyeconic in Grey is a great way to add color to your eyes but in a subtle way. The texture and pigmentation are not the best per se but the color is very beautiful and for the price is definitely a steal.
