Burt’s Bee Refreshing Lip Balm in Pink Grapefruit (1) Burt’s Bee Refreshing Lip Balm With Pink Grapefruit Review

When it comes to lip balms, I like to cut through the fancy pants flavours and packaging and come to one thing that truly matters- does it hydrate and restore my dry and chapped lips . Well does this one? Lets find out !

Packaging: Cute small retractable travel friendly tube in mango yellow and pink colors.

My thoughts:

I ran out of my Nivea fruity shine lip balm and bought this lip balm for  the time being to treat my dry chapped lips. While this does glide smoothly, and has a citrusy and robust smell of pink grapefruit,  it is too strong for me (may not be a problem for all). When it comes to healing chapped lips and moisturization, I am not a huge fan of this- I definitely feel my Nivea Fruity Shine one did a better job than this one . If you need subtle and mild restoration, this would work for you but for severely chapped lips you may want to look elsewhere . On me I feel like it tends to sit on my lips and pretty much do precious little

  • Cute, colorful, travel friendly packaging
  • Smooth to apply
  • Good natural ingredients

  • Doesn’t treat very dry chapped lips
  • Requires frequent application
  • Grapefruit smell is too strong (may not bother all)

Rating: C

Price: $3.30 for 4.25g

Will I Repurchase? No, I better settle with Nivea fruity shine.

Final Verdict: If you want your lip balm to give care to your extremely dry chapped lips, this is not for you. If you are blessed with decently healthy lips , and just require a lip balm to add a dab of moisture and if you love the grapefruit smell you may want to consider this

Indeed, that’s one of the reasons why I bought it.

I completely agree :/ I have extremely chapped lips and heard good things about Burt’s Bees so decided to try this. Complete waste of money. Did nothing. Smelt like a freaking orchard. Hated it so much that I can’t bear to use it again. Ugh. Gimme my Niveas anyday.

Yes, Niveas anyday :) Lov them!
