ELF Studio Baked Blush Pinktastic (8) ELF Studio Baked Blush in Pinktastic: Swatches & Review

Have you ever been over the moon raving about some cute hauls you bought from a local drugstore? If yes, then it is certain that you already know how it feels if a product turns out to be your best buy without hurting your pocket. Hell yeah! E.l.f Pinktastic, you make me pinkalicious (Blush+Blush)

The packaging is cute, intact and non-messy. However, it’s fragile so you ought to be extra careful while handling it.

It is a beige-white shimmery pan with pink marbling, it comes with frosty finish that works more like a highlighter and less as a blush.

It is highly pigmented, gives a natural glow when applied with light hand. It may end up looking made up or too shimmery if applied heavily because it is highly pigmented.

The best way to use this as a blush is to apply it in traces on your powder or cream blush for a natural glow, works great this way. A good quality brush adds to the right application of this product.

This is universally flattering shade, it can be worn as blush/highlighter by any sort of skin tones with great ease.

This is too shimmery for my taste when it comes to blushes, so I use it as a highlighter. Trust me, it makes the best highlighter with amazing lasting power and excellent pigmentation and texture.

It absolutely has no fall off. It has a lasting power of 7-8 good hours and then starts to fade gradually till the 10th hour. Isn’t that too good to be true? Indeed! I have tested it to the hilt and quite happy for the way its formula is for a drugstore brand.

This product is often compared with MAC mineralised skin finish soft&gentle (except it has pinky sheen to it)
It applies best and lasts long when applied with slightly dampen brush.

Pros:

  • Cute packaging & portable
  • Universal shade
  • Highly pigmented
  • Multitaskable (blush/highlighter)
  • Long lasting(7-8hrs)
  • Imparts natural glow
  • Ingredients
  • Affordable
  • Works best as highlighter

Cons:

  • Too frosty/shimmery for a blush
  • Fragile
  • Availability
  • Keeping this product under blushes is misleading, ideally it should have been placed under highlighters

Rating: A+

Price: 3$ for 6gms

Will I Repurchase: This one pot lasts for long time

Recommendation: “e.l.f Studio Baked Blush Pinktastic” is a beige-white shimmery pot with pink marbling is the best highlighter I have ever come across, as a blush it may not fetch much because it might be too shimmery. Though it’s a drugstore product that comes at 3 bucks, the formula and lasting power is par excellence.

Superb find. Simply loved the baked rosy pigment with lots of shimmer. I’m based in Ludhiana, Punjab, where availability is a big prob. Is it available online?
