Its raiiiinniiingggg today in Delhi and while Im not the biggest lover of rain, the pitter patter of raindrops against my rooms bay window (the one thing I love about my current home- how large the windows are) is totally putting me in a good mood, and making me feel lazy at the same time. I can’t afford to be too lazy though, its Rakhi day and I need to get cleaned up, go buy rakhis (yes, very last minute), grab a box of cupcakes for my brothers (in our family the girls give the guys too) and go tie that string on the annoying pests who you love and hate at the same time. What does all this have to do with the Chambor Smokey Eyes Intense Kohl? Absolutely nothing girls…
Iv rarely ventured out of eye kohls apart from the Lakme Eyeconic and Maybelline Collosal which seem to satisfy the limited amount of kohl cravings I tend to get, but I happened to try the Chambor Smokey eyes Intense Kohl recently and fell in love with it.
The Smokey Eyes Intense is a nice, rich black which is ultra soft and creamy to apply (no tugging whatsoever), it glides smoothly and lasts the entire day on my eyes without budging. What I do like is even though it doesnt smudge in daily wear, when I want to smudge it with a cotton bud, it relents and gives that smokey eye effect it promises. Apart from that, it doesn’t feel harsh and itchy on my sensitive eyes (a very big deal since most kohls do). The only downside is this is not one of those twist up kajals which means you need to sharpen it once the tip wears out which is quite often since its super creamy. So thats kind of inconvenient for me.
Price: Rs 595
Recommendation: Well, I actually love the Chambor Smokey Eyes Intense Kohl. Its rich, black and gorgeous without smudging and budging throughout the day. When I do want it to smudge I go over it with a cotton bud for a smoked out effect. Super creamy, super soft but has to be sharpened pretty often which is quite annoying.
