Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm 250 Standout: Swatches & Review
After reading some great reviews about the Revlon Matte Balms, I have just got hold of four of them from the Colorburst collection. And Oh! I so love them. <3 I will be sharing my most favorite out of them on today’s post. Presenting the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in the color 250 Standout.
Description: Vibrant colors infused with a Triple Butter Complex give you a bold, beautiful lip. It’s a burst of matte color with a balm-like feel. Go bold and get moisturized in 10 craveable, collectible shades.
- Velvety color + balm-like moisture
- Infused with a Triple Butter Complex of Shea, mango, and coconut butter
- Retractable chubby crayon, no sharpener required.
My take on Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm 250 Standout:
Packaging: How cute are the packaging of these cute balms. Like seriously, I go crazy over cute packaging and these are no exceptions. It comes in a color-coded chubby crayon with a twisty mechanism making it travel friendly and easy to apply when on the go.
Color: 250 Standout is true to its name, as this shade screams attention and it does STANDOUT of the lot. It is a deep red color; a cranberry red is what I would call it. A bold color which would look great on any skin tone. The balm is a smooth matte finish lip color and not a flat matte. It is a velvety textured matte as described by Revlon. It feels smooth to apply and doesn’t dry out my lips at all. The minty smell is very refreshing and feels tingling for a while. So, ladies who have issue with sweet smelling products need not stay away from these balms as the minty smell last only for a few seconds.
Pigmentation: As seen on the hand swatch below, a single coat is all I swiped to achieve an opaque coverage. Girls with pigmented lips will surely love this.
Staying power: It last for 5 to 6 hours on me. The texture is velvety matte and my lips feel supple and soft.
- Hot color
- Cute packaging
- Velvety matte
- Glides smoothly
- Doesn’t dry out lips
- Minty smell
Price: Rs. 800
Recommendation: Yes, yes and yes. Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm 250 Standout is a stunning red color which will suit all skintones. Even though it has a matte finish the formula is non-drying.
