??????????????????????????????? Colorbar True Lip Gloss in Pink Stain: Swatches & Review

Today I want to share with you a “gloss” which is not really much of a gloss and is more of a liquid lipstick. I have always loved Colorbar products for their quality and pricing. I picked out two shades from this range and I will be reviewing the shade pink stain today.

Packaging: The packaging is totally fuss free. It comes in a silver cardboard box which I don’t have any more (sorry). The tube is cylindrical and very sleek. The material is made of very sturdy plastic and it is travel friendly. The cap fits on tightly and there is no spilling. The applicator is a typical doe foot one and there is no excess product on the wand.

Shade:  It is a warm toned pink with red undertones. The color is a little neonish but very wearable. It is a bright color and it will brighten up you face any day. It is close dupe (shade wise) to MAC Impassioned but then again it s like comparing apples to oranges. I love bright lip shades and if you are like me then do pick this up.

Texture: The gloss is very lightweight and does not feel sticky at all. The glossiness goes after 2-3 hours and the color still stays behind. It moisturises my lips for a few hours. It does tend to settle in fine line after a couple of hours. It is a great pick of summers as well as winters.

Staying power:  The color lasted for almost 7-8 hours. I ate and drank in the middle and it faded a bit but left a bright pink stain. The shade is very aptly names because the pink stain looked pretty dark and you definitely need a makeup remover to remove this.

Pigmentation: So I usually don’t buy lip gloss because I don’t like the sheer color pay off but when I swatched these on the counter I was shocked .The pigmentation is amazing. It is opaque in one single swipe. As I wrote before it is more of a liquid lipstick.

Fragrance: It has a vanilla fragrance that is not very intimidating.
