Maybelline finally launched their Go Graffiti range in India as a part of the rebel bouquet collection and I am so excited to collect all these babies! These ranges consists of 9 pretty nail paints in top coats as well as jelly base ones and are so budget friendly. As of yet I could not spot all the shades but of the few I did saw Blue beats appealed me the most.
Blue beats has a clear base more like a top coat and densely packed light blue and black hexes with tiny black polka dots and thin black strips. It is a very fun color for the season which can be worn in different ways. It can be used alone as well as a top coat. I personally like wearing it on a base color and love the way it looks. Here I have applied one coat blue beats on top of Maybelline color show nail paint in constant candy.
The formula is more on the thicker side and slightly dense but it applies very easily and evenly without feeling gloopy. It dries quickly in spite of the texture giving a smooth even finish. It has semi glossy finish, I really like that it does not get patchy or streaky on the nails, the brush is pretty good and the application is a breeze! It lasted for 5 days on my nails before it started to wear off slightly from the tips.
Removal is difficult and it does not come off easily and takes bit of time and efforts! Even after the base color has been removed the blue and black hexes are left behind. But since I love the dimensional and fun look it gives to my nails in a jiffy I think that is really a minor con. The packaging is same as the regular color show range, it comes in tiny cute bottles with a printed black cap.
