Product Claims – Breaking it down, they can be enlisted as:

• No over drying/stripping skin of natural oils
• Contains essential oils & vitamins
• Removes oil and dirt
• Maintains skin’s pH balance
• For all skin type
• Tested for safety

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser Review(3)

Appearance & Smell – The Kiehl’s face wash comes in a white tube with a flip top cap which is quite secure. The fragrance of this product is quite loud and it is kind of medicinal, which is a turn off for me.

Consistency – The face wash is translucent and of runny consistency. It lathers well.

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser Review(1)

My Experience – I have combination skin with an oily T-Zone in the summers. And I must say it works really well. It clears out any greasiness, dirt, grime on the face without leaving your skin dry. It doesn’t cause any irritation as well. The best part about this product is that it removes every bit of makeup, so it works as a great makeup remover too.

It contains a lot of chemicals, so if you’re more of a natural product lover then sadly it’s not for you. SLS is also present, it can be bothersome if you prefer soap-free cleansers.

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser Review(4)

Pros –

  • Removes makeup
  • Removes oil and greasiness
  • Doesn’t dry out skin
  • Suitable for all skin types

Cons –

  • Contains SLS
  • Bit expensive

Verdict : A

Price – INR 895 for 75ml

RecommendationA product with dual use, makeup remover and a cleanser. On the downside, it’s expensive and contains SLS.
