All makeup lovers search for the perfect pink or red or nude lipstick. In one such quest, I was looking for a perfect brick red shade and I stumbled upon the Butter London Moisture Matte lipstick in old Blighty. I absolutely fell in love with the colour. It is a gorgeous brick red with brown undertones. This suits Indian skin tones very well.

The formulation is very creamy, glides like “butter” on the lips. Very opaque coverage and has no particular smell – neither good nor bad. This is a moisture matte lipstick and hence it is very moisturizing plus the color payoff is very good. Lasting power I would say it would last for a good 4 to 5 hours and even after that it leaves a slight tinge behind.

Packaging is very simple and classy. It is heavier than any other normal lipstick, but for me it is not a big deal.
