On our latest Bridal Makeup Breakdown, we have Real Bride Ishita giving us major #MakeupGoals #HairstyleGoals and #BrideGoals all rolled into one. She had 6 wedding functions and all of her looks were completely different from one another. We asked her makeup artist Bianca Louzado to deconstruct all the bridal looks and she was more than happy to spill the beans. Over to Bianca :

Event – Mehendi

Hair : Messy side braid with a touch of parandi for a fusion effect.

Since it was a nice vibrant fun event, Ishita wore a refreshing lime green lehenga.

Her skin was unblemished and a great canvas to work on. On her eyes I used a light matte gold eye shadow from the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. I used the cut crease method with a dark brown eye shadow – Woodwinked by MAC and blended it. I created a wing using Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner. To finish off the look, we went with a Sephora fuschia pink lipstick.

Event : Brunch

Hair : A diamanté tiara and semi tied up her hair with soft curls.

I used an baby pink matte eye shadow from the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette on her eyelids with a slightly flicked brown gel eyeliner by NYX. Finally I added a soft pink frosty lip color by Chanel – Chanel Rouge Coco Chintz.

Event : Pool Party

Ishita wanted to get into the pool but didn’t want her hair tied up, so we did a half / semi tied up style.

All make up was waterproofKourt K by Kylie Jenner was used for the magenta pink lips and a smokey dull gold eye shadow from the NARS eye shadow duo by Mecca for the eyes.

Event : Sangeet

She wanted to dance the night away and didn’t want her hair to interfere so we did a look inspired by “Ae dil hai mushkil” that was worn by Anushka Sharma in the movie. With a texturised messy up-do she also realised her dream of wearing a side ‘passa’.

I used Chanel Perfection Lumiere which is a very dewy liquid foundation for this occasion and classic red statement lips – Chanel Rouge Allure 99 pirate to go with it. For eyes we did a gradual brown light smokey using the Chanel quad palette (79 spices).

Event : Pheras

I ensured that her skin was glowing. I used a creamy matte lip colour by Bobbi brown (Crushed Plum) . Winged eyeliner for the eyes using the Clarins Paris pen Eyeliner for a more precise application. I lined her eyes with Kohl using Chanel Stylo Yeux water proof liner in Noir Intense. We used 3 coats of waterproof mascara YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils. All eye makeup was waterproof to be on the safer side lest she gets emotional and she eventually did ! But none of her eye make up smudged. Her cheeks were flushed with a hue of pink cream blush by YSL (Creme de blush powdery rose #2).

Hair : She had a really pretty matha patti so I did a middle parting. But with texturised hair because I didn’t want her hair to be flat even though she was using a matha patti. We went with plum coloured roses around her bun instead of mogras.

Event : Cocktail

Hair : It was kept open with soft big curls.

Her gown was by Shantanu Nikhil. The cocktail party was interestingly after the Pheras .

I did a jet black smokey eye with the help of the Sephora moonstone palette. I used Lancôme Hypnose mascara to give her a beautiful full lash effect and then used gorgeous Huda Beauty lashes – Samantha. The base was dewy using Armani luminous silk foundation. Contouring and strobing was done using the Anastasia Beverly Hills contour palette and the look was completed with coral lips – Charlotte Tilbury (lost cherry).

I ensured that for all her events after every make up session was completed, I sprayed on some Urban decay make up fixer to ensure crease-less, long – lasting make up !
