“I have known Pranjal since her sister’s wedding a few years ago and this time I was mighty excited to see her getting engaged. Pranjal is a very pretty girl with beautiful features. For her function we had decided upon a very ‘princessy’, straight out of a fairytale look.

Face : The weather and pollution had taken a slight toll on her skin, so I began with toning and moisturizing with Forest Essentials light hydrating aloe vera gel. For evening out her skin, I used Nars Sheer Glow Foundation in shade Medium 4. I used a bit of orange corrector by MAC to hide a few blemishes and covered it with a light layer of Nars Radiant creamy concealer which also highlighted the under eye area beautifully. For contouring, I used Bobbi Brown cream concealer in the shade Chestnut to sculpt her features lightly. I used a light pink matte finish blush on the apples of her cheeks and a swipe of Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact highlighter on her cheek bones to give that glow from within look!

Eyes : To give her a dreamy look, we decided to keep her eye makeup very light and shimmery. I first primed her eyes with Benefit Cosmetics Stay Don’t Stray. On her eyelids I applied NYX Roll On Shimmer in shade Salmon. Then I used Urban Decay shade Virgin to highlight and MAC Swiss Chocolate to contour her eyes. I lined her eyes with L’Oreal black gel eyeliner and skipped the kohl on the waterline. I kept the eyeliner thin and gave it a light flick at the end. To finish the eye makeup, I added a pair of really voluminous false lashes to make her eyes look more open and beautiful.

Lips : I used NYX Ibiza to give a nice pop of colour to the whole look.

I finished the look with Laura Mercier translucent setting powder and some Urban Decay makeup fixer. The hair was kept tied in a beautiful soft, curly bun with a few strands left out to frame her face and fall softly on her exposed collar bones. Pranjal’s pretty hair accessory made the hairstyle even prettier! And that’s how we turned a beautiful girl into a stunning princess for her engagement :) ”

I love this look. Her makeup perfectly complements the almost stain-glass look and colors of her dress. The romantically soft curls of her updo were the perfect touch to the ensemble.
