On our latest #BridalMakeupBreakdown, we have Real Bride Vishakha looking just like a Disney princess in a pastel pink gown for her Sangeet ceremony. Her makeup artist Umang Vanshika and the team at UV Salon Makeup Studio made her look like a million bucks. And since we’re always curious to know which products were used, we asked Umang to deconstruct the look !
Umang says, “Hydration is key to achieve good makeup so I started with Cetaphil moisturizing cream. The next step was to prime the skin and smoothen it out for which MAC Prep & Prime Skin Base Visage was used. Kryolan Supra base in FS28 was used to conceal dark areas and blemishes. Vishakha’s flawless base was achieved using Temptu Airbrush. I used it for applying foundation, blush and highlighter.
To fill up the brows, MAC Mystery eyeshadow was used. For the eyes, I gave her soft smokey eyes in tones of pink, black and brown. MAC Groundwork paint pot was used to prime the eyelids then a matte black eyeshadow was blended on the outer half of the eyelid (Morphe Brushes 35D palette). In the inner half MAC Expensive Pink & Swish eyeshadows were applied. With Lakme black Eyeconic Kohl, I outlined the upper and lower lash line and smudged it a bit. I added a pair of PAC Cosmetics false lashes in No. 42 to amp up the doll-eyed effect.
Finished the look by giving her beautiful matte barbie pink lips, I mixed and applied Colourpop Cosmetics Donut & Highball Ultra Matte Lipstick all over. In the end sprayed Slay All Day Setting Spray all over the face to fix and set the makeup. I just can’t get over how dainty and pretty her look turned out to be. For her hair my hairstylist gave her the prettiest messy low bun. All in all, she basically just looked like a Disney princess.”
