We’re ALWAYS curious to know which makeup products the pros like to use. So we ask some of our favourite professional makeup artists to deconstruct a bridal look in our #BridalMakeupBreakdown series. Even if you’re not a bride-to-be, you can recreate these looks because they’re subtle and oh so pretty. In this volume, we asked Makeup Artist Sakshi Sagar to reveal how she went about real bride Charvi’s wedding makeup and she was more than happy to tell all. Over to Sakshi :

FACE – “First, I corrected Charvi’s skin with MAC Studio Finish concealers and then used Temptu airbrush to give her a flawless base. Once the foundation was done, I moved on to contouring and highlighting. I used Anastasia Beverly Hills contour kit to sculpt the face, after which I added a beautiful highlight using Bobbi Brown shimmer brick in bronze. The shimmer brick contains five complementing shades which start with a pale cream at the top, moves on to a champagne, a bronze, a rose gold and a deep burgundy brown.

EYES – I used MAC melon pigment which is my absolute favourite & then gave her a double toned smokey eye creating brown edges. I created a winged eyeliner using Maybelline gel eye liner which adds perfect definition to the eyes. The texture is smooth and creamy and the pigmentation is great. I finished off the eye makeup with some false eyelashes.

LIPS – I used MAC cherry lip pencil to outline and fill in the lips & topped it with MAC Ruby Woo lipstick to add that perfect red mouth. Ruby Woo is a classic bridal red that works on all skin tones, possibly the safest, most versatile red as no one can go wrong with it. And with that Charvi was all set to say I do.”
