When it comes to wedding lehengas, why stick with the quintessential red ? Real bride Sanjana had the same idea and decided to #DitchTheRed and go with her favourite hue – Peach ! Her bridal makeup complemented her lehenga perfectly. If you too are planning to wear pastels this summer, read on as we decode her wedding look.

Isha reveals, “We wanted to go for Anushka Sharma’s look in Ae dil hai mushkil. I started with the base by using Makeup Forever HD foundation (Maybelline Fit me foundation is also quite good and pocket friendly). Since brides want to have the most gorgeous photos and also have a nice , healthy glow without being extra shimmery – the highlighter must be chosen carefully. I used Becca Champagne pop but if you are looking for a more affordable option, Makeup revolution’s Goddess of Love highlighter is amazing. For the blush, I applied MAC fleeting romance (one can also try Colorbar blushes and lip colors.)
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Pomade in dark brown was used to define Sanjana’s brows. For the eye makeup, I did halo eyes by using tones of brown and gold in the center. The liner and kohl were smoked out to finish the look. The Huda Palette (rose gold) and Inglot no 77 eyeliner (the best liner ever) was what I applied.
For her lips, mixed two Anastasia lippers to create this one – Dusty rose and Dolce. My advice to brides-to-be reading this, do all the research (like checking out makeup pictures, taking a trial, getting around the working style of the artist, discussing your requirements) before hiring the makeup artist for your big day. But once you’ve hired them, have full faith in your artist. Speaking from personal experience – if you let the artist do what they do best, trust me you will definitely shine like a star on your wedding night. ”
