While we’re all for offbeat lehenga colours on brides, there’s just something ethereal about the bridal red. And the real bride we’re featuring today proves just that. Her jewellery has us swooning and the makeup is glamourous yet understated.

Jasmeet reveals, “Arushi had flawless skin and one of the prettiest faces I had ever come across. In addition to this, she was going to wear the perfect red Sabyasachi lehenga with spectacular jewellery to compliment it. Given all of this, I knew I had to come up with something unique to make her look more beautiful than she was already going to. I kept it fairly simple, but used an uncommon technique for her eye makeup.

For her foundation, I used the tiniest amount of MAC mineralise foundation. I set the base in place with the Laura Mercier translucent powder. Arushi had a very soft face, almost angelic. I thought accentuated cheek bones might counter that in a good way and add a hint of sensuality. I decided to use the Bobbi Brown bronzer for this.

For her eyes, I gave her a metallic brown smokey eye with a bunch of MAC’s limited edition ‘antique gold reflects’ glitter on the centre of her lid. Big fluttery lashes were added to this. We skipped kajal, in order for the eyes to look bigger, but added eye liner to define the eyes. To finish this off, I used my holy grail Ruby Woo from MAC on her lips. And with that, Arushi was all set to say I do.
